TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Roberto Aguayo, the most accurate kicker in NCAA history, says he will declare for the NFL draft and skip his senior season at Florida State.

Aguayo made .9673 of all kicks at Florida State. He made all 198 of his extra-point attempts and was 69 of 78 on field goals. The previous record was .9667 by Nebraska's Alex Henery (261 of 270).

He also holds the Atlantic Coast Conference and NCAA record for points by a kicker in a single-season with 157 in 2013. That was the year Florida State won its third national championship.

Aguayo, who was a redshirt junior, was expected to leave after earning his degree in criminology last month. He is the 12th kicker in NCAA history to never miss a PAT.
