Clemson Football Early Scouting: Can Louisville beat the Tigers?
It’s game day for Clemson football and the Tigers are currently pouring it on S.C. State, but could Louisville come in Death Valley in two weeks and win?
Currently, Clemson football is pouring it on S.C. State in Death Valley, but Louisville is pouring it on an opponent also: Florida State.
This begs the question, could Louisville come into Clemson and pick up a win?
They absolutely could.
When the Cardinals come into Death Valley, both teams should be ranked inside the top-five. College GameDay would certainly be at the match-up and this may become the ACC Atlantic Championship game.
I know I’m looking ahead because the Tigers still have Georgia Tech left to play, but it’s just interesting that the next time we pack the Valley, there will be an extremely high magnitude of a game.

If you watch any of the Louisville-Florida State game in the second half, here are some players to keep your eye on.
This team starts and ends with Lamar Jackson.
Jackson leads the team in passing and in rushing. He is extremely fast, athletic, and elusive. Watch what he can do with his targets and you will be amazed.
Louisville has a solid defense and a great offense. The Cardinals may not have as much depth as Clemson, but they certainly have a lot of talent.
Assuming Louisville hangs on for the win against Florida State, this will be a great game in two weeks.
Don’t overlook Georgia Tech, Clemson football fans, but make sure you keep your eye on Louisville both today and next week when they play Marshall because they may be the biggest hurdle to the Tigers’ run at a National Championship in 2016.
