Tone Boyle hit three 3-pointers down the stretch to help Wisconsin-Milwaukee overcome a seven-point deficit and defeat Bowling Green 72-69 Saturday.

Boyle was 7 for 14 from the field - all on 3-point attempts - and finished with 22 points for the Panthers (6-7). Tony Meier added 20 points, and Kaylon Williams had eight points, eight rebounds and six assists.

A'uston Calhoun led Bowling Green (2-9) with 26 points. Scott Thomas added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Boyle hit a pair of 3-pointers during an 8-0 run to give Milwaukee a 62-61 lead with 4:52 remaining. After a pair of baskets by Calhoun put Bowling Green back on top, 65-64, Boyle hit another trey with 2:55 left to put the Panthers ahead for good.

Milwaukee held on in the final minutes despite missing 3 of 6 free throws in the final 30 seconds.
