Brandon Britt scored 20 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, to lead William & Mary in an easy 70-47 win over Division III Wesley College on Thursday night.

Marcus Thornton added 14 points and Quinn McDowell 12 for the Tribe (2-8), who have won two of five after opening the season with five consecutive losses.

Brown hit a pair of 3-pointers and McDowell added another for William & Mary, which shot 34.5 percent (10 of 29) from beyond the arc in the win. The Wolverines shot just 14.3 percent (1 of 7) from long range.

The Tribe's bench outscored Wesley's 21-5.

The Tribe held a slim 24-18 halftime lead, but blew the game open in the second and outscored the Wolverines 46-29 to clinch it.

Darrell Johnston led Wesley (2-5) with 11 points and David Langan had a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 boards.
