Wiggins, Coastal Carolina come back, beat Campbell

BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) Shivaughn Wiggins scored a career-high 22 on Monday night and Coastal Carolina won its sixth-straight game, topping Campbell 70-67.

Josh Cameron added 16 points and Warren Gillis scored 15 for the Chanticleers (14-3, 5-0 Big South), who made 24 of 45 (53.3 percent) field goals and overcame a 14-point first-half deficit.

A 3 by Campbell's Andrew Ryan tied the game at 58 with five minutes left, but a 10-4 run by Coastal Carolina made it 68-62 with 55 seconds remaining.

D.J. Mason hit a 3-pointer to pull Campbell within three and, after two free throws by Gillis, Kyre' Hamer's layup with 15 seconds to go made it 70-67.

Coastal Carolina's Elijah Wilson missed the front end of a one-and-one, but Ryan missed a potential tying 3 in the waning seconds.

Hamer and Mason scored 16 apiece for Campbell (7-10, 1-3), which shot just 36 percent but made 12 3-pointers and converted 16 offensive rebounds into 14 second-chance points.
