Tennessee-Martin routs Boyce 122-60

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) Alex Anderson scored 18 points as Tennessee-Martin trounced NCCAA Division II member Boyce 122-60 to win its fifth-straight game on Saturday.

Mike Jones' early jumper was Boyce's only lead. Richard Lee's jumper tied it, Anderson hit back-to-back 3s and a layup to make it 10-2, and Tennessee-Martin rolled to a 65-20 halftime lead.

Richard Lee and Chandler Rowe each scored 14 points and Kedar Edwards added 13 for the Skyhawks. All but one of 14 players who entered the game scored for Tennessee-Martin (8-7).

The Skyhawks shot 44 of 78 (56 percent) from the field, held a 49-26 rebounding edge and collected 19 steals. Jalen Variste dished out 11 assists and had six steals for Tennessee-Martin.

Tennessee-Martin's 16 3-pointers tied a school record set last March at Northwestern State.

Drew McKay led Boyce (3-11) with 14 points. Maxx Katzbeck and Jones each scored 11 points in the exhibition game for the Bulldogs.
