Darius Gardner scored 15 points as Stephen F. Austin rolled to a 63-49 victory over Sam Houston State on Wednesday night.
Jereal Scott added 14 points, and Antonio Bostic and Eddie Williams each had 13 for the Lumberjacks (12-5, 3-2 Southland).
Gilberto Clavell led the Bearkats (9-10, 2-4) with 26 points.
Stephen F. Austin trailed by five early before putting together a 15-4 run to take a 20-14 lead with 8:41 left in the first half. The Lumberjacks pushed their lead to 33-23 at halftime and led by double digits the rest of the way.

Stephen F. Austin led by 18 in the second half and outshot Sam Houston State 59.5 percent to 40.5 percent.
