NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) Jalen Cannon scored a season-high 35 points and added 13 rebounds, seven offensive, to help lead St. Francis Brooklyn to a 90-81 victory over Central Connecticut State on Thursday night.

The 11-rebound effort gives Cannon 1,027 for his career, breaking the school record previously held by Jerome Williams (1,018). Cannon also moved just five shy of the Northeastern Conference record, held by Justin Ruddy.

Glenn Sanabria added 15 points on five 3-pointers off the bench for the Terriers (15-9, 9-2 Northeastern), who have won 15 of 19 after a 0-5 start to the season.

CCSU led 37-33 at the break, but a 19-6 St. Francis run midway through the second half capped by a Sanabria 3 gave the Terriers a double-digit lead and effectively put the game away.
