Ryan Rossiter had 13 points and 10 rebounds as top-seeded Siena crushed ninth-seeded Canisius 77-52 in the quarterfinal round of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament Saturday night. Edwin Ubiles added 18 points for the host Saints (24-7, 17-3 MAAC), who advance to face Fairfield in Sunday's semifinal round after beating Canisius for the second time in six days. Kenny Hasbrouck added 16 points. Siena blew the game open with an eight-minute 22-2 run that began midway through the second half and included thrilling dunks by Ubiles and Alex Franklin. Julius Coles and Elton Frazier had 13 points apiece for the Golden Griffins (11-20, 4-15 MAAC), while Frank Turner added 12.
