Nick Niemczyk scored 14 of his 18 points in the second half and Southeast Missouri State came back in the second half to beat Miami of Ohio 64-57 on Saturday.
Marcus Brister added 10 points for Southeast Missouri (3-3), and his basket with just under a minute to play extended the hosts' lead to 57-53. Lucas Nutt made five free throws and Niemczyk had two to wrap up the victory.
Miami (2-2) led 30-22 at halftime, shooting 46 percent in the first half but just 32 percent after that to finish at 38 percent. Julian Mavunga led Miami with 27 points, Jon Harris had 12 points and Bill Edwards contributed 12 rebounds.
