Reggie Hamilton hit nine 3-pointers and scored 40 points as Oakland, Mich., defeated Western Illinois 74-70 in double overtime Saturday night.

Travis Bader scored 19 and Drew Valentine 10 as the Golden Grizzlies (13-13, 7-7 Summit League) won for the 11th consecutive time at Western Illinois. Corey Petros, with five points, was the only other Oakland player to score.

Ceola Clark made five 3-pointers and scored 22 points to lead the Leathernecks (13-9, 7-6). Obi Emegano added 18 points, Tommie Tyler 11 and Terell Parks 10.

Clark sent the game to overtime by sinking a 3-pointer for a 50-50 tie with 38 seconds left.

Hamilton, who finished one point off his career high, forced a second overtime when his 3-pointer tied it at 60 with 40 seconds to go.

Bader and Hamilton hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give Oakland a 66-62 edge in the second overtime, and the Grizzlies held on.
