Ryan Pierson scored 19 points and Chaisson Allen added 18 to lead Northeastern to a 77-67 win over East Tennessee State on Thursday in the Cancun Governor's Cup.

Alex Harris finished with 14 points and five assists for the Huskies (3-6), who snapped a six-game losing streak. Jonathan Lee had 12 points and dished out five assists.

Northeastern never trailed in the contest, scoring the first six points of the game and went into halftime with a 47-29 advantage. The Huskies shot 54.5 percent (18 of 33) from the floor in the first half, while holding ETSU to 36 percent (9 of 25).

Pierson's two free throws with 19:13 left to play gave Northeastern a 51-30 lead - its largest of the game. ETSU (4-7) cut the margin to six points - 62-56 - on Adam Sollazzo's layup with 7:21 left, but they pulled no closer.

Micah Williams led ETSU with 22 points.
