Josh Schuler's 3-pointer with 4 seconds left in the second overtime gave North Dakota the Great West Conference tournament championship Saturday night with a 77-76 victory over South Dakota.

The third-seeded Fighting Sioux (19-14), who won their sixth straight game and third of the season over the Coyotes, earned an automatic bid to the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. They'll play Tuesday night at Air Force.

Troy Huff's 15 points paced North Dakota, which shot only 35.2 percent but sank 23 of 29 free throws. Tournament MVP Patrick Mitchell added 14, Jamal Webb 12 and Aaron Anderson 11.

Kendall Cutler scored 24 for the defending champion Coyotes (18-15). Louie Krogman added 17, Jake Thomas 11 and Mitchell Bouie 10. Ricardo Andreotti grabbed 17 rebounds.

Cutler's layup with 35 seconds left in regulation tied it 50-50 and forced overtime.

Krogram's 3-pointer just before the buzzer necessitated the second overtime at 65-65.
