N.C.-Asheville 81, Radford 58
John Williams scored 16 points and North-Carolina-Asheville routed Radford 81-58 on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.
The win, which tied a school-record for conference victories in a season, helped the Bulldogs (16-13, 11-7 Big South Conference) secure the third seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
The Bulldogs dominated close to the basket, shooting a season high 58.6 percent (34 of 58) and outscoring Radford in the paint 54-26.
An 18-0 first-half run pushed the Bulldogs to a 24-7 lead with 8:50 remaining in the half and the lead never dipped below 20 points in the final 20 minutes.
Eric Stubbs added 12 points and Chris Stephenson had 10 for the Bulldogs, who have won three games in a row.
Jeremy Robinson scored 15 points and Lukas Winegarner chipped in 14 for the Highlanders (5-24, 2-16), who have lost seven straight games.
