Morgan State blows out Howard, 83-63

BALTIMORE (AP) Cedric Blossom scored 19 points, added four steals, and Morgan State overwhelmed Howard in the second half in an 83-63 win on Saturday.
Andre Horne Jr. finished with 18 points, Rasean Simpson had 15, and Phillip Carr had 14 for the Bears (4-15, 2-4 MEAC), who snapped a four game losing skid.
Simpson also pulled down nine rebounds and Carr added six.
Morgan State was held below 40 percent shooting and hit just one 3-pointer; however the Bears forced 25 Howard turnovers and hit 38 of 47 at the free throw line.
James Daniel led the Bison (10-11, 4-2) with 18 points and Marcel Boyd had 17 and nine rebounds.
Morgan State held only a 34-33 lead at halftime. But the Bears ripped off an 18-3 run midway through the second half, capped by an Antonio Gillespie jumper and a Kyle Thomas layup, which effectively put the game away.
