Kenneth Faried scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Morehead State past Murray State 75-65 in Ohio Valley Conference action on Saturday night.
It was the third consecutive victory for the Eagles (5-3, 2-0) after suffering back-to-back losses on the road against No. 10 Florida on Nov. 21 and No. 3 Ohio State on Nov. 23.
Demonte Harper scored 22 points and had five assists to lead Morehead State. Terrance Hill added 15 for the Eagles.
The Racers (4-4, 1-1) shot 50 percent from the floor (50 percent) and 15 of 16 from the free-throw line (93.8 percent), but it wasn't enough to avoid their third loss in the last four games after starting the year 3-1.
Isaiah Canaan led Murray State with 17 points, Isacc Miles added 12 and B.J. Jenkins had 11.
Faried's double-double was his seventh of the season and the 64th of his career - the most in the country among active players.
