Erik Etherly scored 14, including a game-sealing dunk as Loyola (Md.) defeated Morgan State 73-67 on Monday night.

The Greyhounds (3-2) trailed 64-63 with 4:16 left before scoring six straight. Robert Olson had all six - a 3-pointer, a free throw and a jump shot - to put Loyola ahead 69-64 with 2:56 to play.

The Bears (2-4) pulled within two, 69-67, on DeWayne Jackson's layup with 46 seconds left, but they wouldn't get any closer.

Olson missed a jumper with 12 seconds left, but Etherly was there for the offensive rebound and followed it up with a dunk. Anthony Winbush sealed the Greyhounds sixth-straight win against Morgan State.

Dylon Cormier had 12 points for Loyola. Olson and Jamal Barney added 11 each.

Jackson paced the Bears with 19 points. Kevin Thompson added 13 points and 11 rebounds for Morgan State, which made just 1 of 12 3-pointers (8.3 percent).
