Adam Brown scored 23 points, including shooting five 3-pointers, to lead Houston to a 78-65 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Tuesday night.
The Cougars (4-1) were down 38-26 at halftime, but they stormed back to outscore the Ragin' Cajuns (1-4) in the second period 52-27.
It was the third time this season Brown scored 20 or more points.
Houston's Kendrick Washington and Kirk Van Slyke each helped out with 17 points, which were career highs for both.

Josh Brown led Louisiana-Lafayette with 16 points while La'Ryan Gary added 13 and Travis Bureau had 10.
The Cougars finished at about 49 percent shooting, including making about 59 percent in the second half.
