ELON, N.C. (AP) Lucas Troutman scored 16 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked three shots and all five Elon starters scored in double figures in an 86-69 win over Samford on Saturday night.
Jack Isenbarger and Sebastian Koch scored 17 apiece, Ryley Beaumont finished with 14 points and seven rebounds and Kevin Blake added 10 points for Elon (15-11, 8-3 Southern Conference).
Isenbarger hit a 3 with 6:32 left in the first half, sparking a 10-2 run by the Phoenix which pushed their lead to 34-24 a couple minutes later. Elon, which shot 53 percent and made 10 of 22 from 3-point range, never trailed again.
Tim Williams scored 22 points to pace Samford (11-17, 5-8), and his three-point play 3 1/2 minutes into the second half pulled the Bulldogs within four, but they would get no closer.
Samford made just 3 of 11 from deep and 12 of 23 free throws.
