Brian Barbour scored 24 points and Columbia sank 12 3-pointers in a 69-61 victory over Loyola Marymount on Friday night in the Centennial Classic.

Barbour hit four 3-pointers, as did Meiko Lyles, who scored all 12 of his points from long range. Noah Bridgewater added 10 points and John Daniels grabbed 12 rebounds for Columbia (3-4), which won its third straight.

Anthony Ireland scored 17 points to lead Marymount (4-3), whose three-game winning streak ended. Jarred DuBois scored 13 and Drew Viney 10.

Barbour's two free throws put Columbia up 63-51 with 1:18 left before DuBois scored six of eight straight Marymount points to trim it to 63-59 with 30 seconds to go. But Columbia ran out the game from the foul line.

Columbia outshot Marymount 52.5 percent (21 of 40) to 41.4 percent (24 of 58).
