Drew Hanlen scored a career-high 21 points, hitting a career-best 7 of 9 from beyond the arc, and Belmont routed cross-town rival Lipscomb 84-58 Friday night for the Bruins' fourth straight win.

Belmont (17-7, 10-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) trailed 10-7 when Scott Saunders scored two straight baskets to spark a 15-0 run. Hanlen capped the spurt with a pair of 3-pointers for a 22-10 lead with 10:51 remaining in the first half, and the Bruins led by double digits the rest of the way.

Hanlen was 5 of 5 from long range in the first half and Belmont shot 63.3 percent from the field (19 of 30) en route to a 51-29 halftime lead.

Ian Clark added 15 points for Belmont, Saunders had 11 and Blake Jenkins 10 as Belmont avenged an 85-74 loss to Lipscomb on Jan. 6.

Malcolm Smith scored 14 points to lead the Bisons (11-13, 6-6).
