AP women's poll: UConn earns top spot for third straight week

UConn stays No. 1 in The Associated Press poll for another week after two more routs.

The Huskies blew out Tulane and Memphis by an average of 55 points. They visit South Florida on Monday night to close out the regular season.

Notre Dame, South Carolina, Maryland and Tennessee round out the first five. The Gamecocks lost their first Southeastern Conference game this season on Sunday to No. 12 Kentucky. Baylor, which lost twice this week, drops to sixth.

The Lady Bears are followed by Florida State, Oregon State, Arizona State and Louisville.

Princeton, the last unbeaten team in women's Division I basketball, is 13th.

Seton Hall re-entered at No. 25 after clinching its first Big East title Sunday. With Princeton and Rutgers both ranked it marks the first time in the history of the poll that three teams from New Jersey are all in the Top 25. California fell out.
