Dominique Heintz - Remains out of training Heintz (back) has yet to return to training, kicker.de reports.

Impact Heintz wasn't present when Bochum started their December training camp. He will have two weeks to return to fitness before the Christmas break. Any sort of return to training before that time would be a good sign he will be fully fit for the start of the second half of the Bundesliga.

Jacek Goralski - Out until January camp Goralski (muscular) won't train with the first team until January's camp, waz.de reports.

Impact Goralski remains sidelined heading into the 2023 campaign, as he was unable to return to training during the first half of the Winter program. Goralski will only be able to target a return after Bochum's Christmas break.

Impact Asano offered some threat but couldn't recreate his winning goal from the opener against Germany. While he might rotate into the lineup for the finale against Spain, Asano's role has been one of a super sub in the first two games.

The defender will hope to find a larger role in the second half of the season. Horn has shown the ability to be a competent starter, with 29 appearances and 20 starts during the 2020/21 campaign with Koln.

Impact Esser has seemingly lost his role as Manuel Riemann's back up to Marko Johansson. Johansson has worked with head coach Thomas Letsch previously, so it's possible Esser could be relegated to third on the depth chart.

Janko did return before the Winter break, and it's possible that break could give him enough time to return to full fitness and compete for a spot in the starting XI.

Impact Osterhage had a run of three starts in midfield, but has returned to the bench, largely playing a role late in matches. Osterhage is set to set a new high in minutes played, but remains a limited fantasy option due to his minimal playing time.

Impact Forster transferred from Stuttgart to Bochum and has seen a considerable increase in playing time and production. The attacking midfielder has earned a consistent role in the starting set up and is on pace to set a new career-high for goals, and has already set a new high for assists.

Lampropoulos did earn a spot in the starting XI for the final three matches, going the full 90, as he has in each of his five starts. Lampropoulos would have limited upside even when in the starting XI.

Impact Losilla has been an absolutely nailed-on starter since Bochum returned to the Bundesliga, and is showing no signs of slowing down. The midfielder has played all over the midfield, though generally in a more defensive role. Losilla has yet to earn a goal contribution, but is on pace for new highs in nearly every defensive category.

He made the second-most tackles for his side despite the limited time in the field. The midfielder also received his first yellow card after 13 appearances (five starts) so far.
