Cheikh Niasse - Makes bench Saturday Niasse (thigh) is on the bench for Saturday's game against AS Roma.
Impact Niasse returns from a three-game absence and will be an option off the bench. That said, his fantasy appeal will remain very limited if he's limited to a substitute role.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Tomas Suslov - Fit for Roma clash Suslov (thigh) is good to go for Saturday's game versus Roma, coach Paolo Zanetti stated.
Impact Suslov will be back from a three-game absence and will compete with Antoine Bernede to make the XI and recapture his usual role. He has posted three shots (one on target), three key passes, four crosses and 13 tackles (10 won) in his last five appearances (all starts).
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Amin Sarr - Won't miss time Sarr (knee) "missed just one training session and recovered quickly after subbing off last week," coach Paolo Zanetti relayed.
Impact Sarr avoided significant injuries and will have the chance to retain his starting job over Dailon Livramento and other attackers. He has scored once and added seven shots (one on target), one chance created and one cross (one accurate) in the last five rounds.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Cheikh Niasse - Will return against Roma Niasse (thigh) will be called up for Saturday, coach Paolo Zanetti announced.
Impact Niasse has recovered from a thigh issue that cost him three matches and will be in the mix to play in one spot in the midfield with Pawel Dawidowicz, who adapted to the position in recent weeks, and Suat Serdar. He started a few consecutive fixtures while the latter was injured. He has posted eight tackles (five won), one key pass, nine interceptions and eight clearances in his last five showings.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Davide Faraoni - DNP versus Genoa Faraoni (thigh) didn't feature in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Genoa.
Impact Faraoni recovered from a muscular injury but didn't get minutes, as has frequently been the case throughout the season. He'll deputize Jackson Tchatchoua and Domagoj Bradaric from here on out.
APRIL 14 • ROTOWIRE
Suat Serdar - Wins one tackle versus Genoa Serdar (conditioning) had one cross 8zero accurate), seven passes and two tackles (one won) in eight minutes in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Genoa.
Impact Serdar saw limited action as he continues to work his way back from a thigh injury and lack of conditioning. Given his sparse minutes in this one, he might need one or two more matches before reclaiming a considerable role in the midfield.
APRIL 14 • ROTOWIRE
Lorenzo Montipo - Keeps clean sheet Montipo registered a clean sheet in Verona's 0-0 draw Sunday against Genoa.
Impact The goalkeeper only made one save and didn't face many problems in this contest. That is unlikely to happen again Saturday against Roma, a team which has scored 47 goals in Serie A this season.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Grigoris Kastanos - Offensive spark off bench Kastanos took three shots (zero on target) and had five crosses in 25 minutes of action in Verona's 0-0 draw against Genoa.
Impact The midfielder did his part to try to get this offense going but it wasn't enough, as only one of his crosses was accurate and he didn't put any shots on frame. Kastanos could be called on again off the bench against Roma, especially since the side is a stellar defensive unit.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Jackson Tchatchoua - Creates two chances Tchatchoua had five crosses in Verona's 0-0 draw Sunday against Genoa, creating two chances for his side.
Impact Tchatchoua was the only player to deliver multiple accurate crosses on the day but it wasn't enough to get Verona on the board. He'll have a tougher time maintaining this production against Roma, a team which has allowed just 32 goals in league play.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Ondrej Duda - Struggles in service Duda had five crosses and three corner kicks in Verona's 0-0 draw with Genoa Sunday.
Impact The midfielder didn't deliver a single accurate cross and only created one chance in the lackluster showing. Duda will not find much room to operate again next Saturday when facing Roma, a side which has allowed just 32 goals in Serie A this season.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Mosquera - Fails to find back of net Mosquera took four shots (one on target) in Verona's 0-0 draw with Genoa Sunday.
Impact The forward was active in front of goal but couldn't find the final finishing touch to actually give his side a win in a match they dominated. He's unlikely to have an easier time Saturday against Roma, a side which has only allowed one goal on average per match in league play.

Amin Sarr - Hurt in Genoa game Sarr drew one foul and had two tackles (one won) in 45 minutes before subbing off at half time in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Genoa due to a knee injury, coach Paolo Zanetti announced.
Impact Sarr was a non-factor offensively and will undergo the tests early next week. Dailon Livramento replaced him up front in this one and would the frontrunner to start if he didn't recover for Saturday's away game versus Roma.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Suat Serdar - Returns to bench Serdar (thigh) is on the bench for Sunday's clash against Genoa.
Impact Serdar was expected to be available for Sunday's match after recovering from a thigh injury and has been named to the bench, likely not deemed fit enough to start. He is expected to build his fitness gradually off the bench before reclaiming a starting role in midfield.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Davide Faraoni - On bench Sunday Faraoni (calf) is on the bench for Sunday's clash against Genoa.
Impact Faraoni was expected to return after recovering from a calf injury that kept him out of the last two matches. His return provides quality depth on both flanks as he has been considered a bench option for the majority of the season.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Davide Faraoni - Will return against Genoa Faraoni (calf) "will be called up Sunday," coach Paolo Zanetti announced.
Impact Faraoni has recuperated from a calf injury that cost him two matches and will provide depth behind the starters on both flanks. He has notched two chances created, eight crosses (two accurate), nine tackles (eight won) and nine clearances in his last five displays (three starts). He has been an unused sub thrice in the last three months.
APRIL 12 • ROTOWIRE
Suat Serdar - Available for Genoa tilt Serdar "has recovered from his injury and improved his conditioning ahead of Sunday's match versus Genoa," coach Paolo Zanetti announced.
Impact Serdar was given an extra week of training to gear back into shape following a significant thigh injury. He'll likely be eased into action given the situation, with Pawel Dawidowicz getting another start in the midfield and Daniele Ghilardi in the back. He has assisted once and added 15 shots (five on target), five key passes and eight tackles (five won) in his last five showings.
APRIL 12 • ROTOWIRE
Amin Sarr - Nets on Sunday Sarr scored one goal to go with four shots (one on goal) in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Torino.
Impact Sarr capitalized on Vanja Milinkovic-Savic's error in the 64th minute and opened the scoring. Sarr made nine passes and a clearance. This was his first goal in nearly four months, having started all 13 games in that span.
APRIL 7 • ROTOWIRE
Lorenzo Montipo - Lets in one Montipo made two saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Torino.
Impact Montipo saved a critical penalty in the 62nd minute and also made a clearance. This was his first penalty save of the campaign. He has recorded 17 saves in the last five games, while also registering two clean sheets. Next Sunday, he faces Genoa.
APRIL 7 • ROTOWIRE
Casper Tengstedt - Out for multiple games Tengstedt (thigh) "will sit out three or four fixtures," coach Paolo Zanetti relayed.
Impact Tengstedt suffered a more serious thigh problem relative to his recent one and will be absent for about a month. Verona will continue to lean on the strikers they have been using lately considering he was missing due to an ankle sprain beforehand.
APRIL 5 • ROTOWIRE
Suat Serdar - Sidelined for Torino match Serdar "won't be available Sunday because he's not 100 percent and will follow a specific training protocol for a few days," coach Paolo Zanetti informed.
Impact Serdar returned from a lengthy absence last week but didn't feel totally right afterward and will not be risked to avoid a relapse. With Cheikh Niasse (thigh) also on the mend, Pawel Dawidowicz will likely start again in the midfield.
APRIL 5 • ROTOWIRE
Casper Tengstedt - Back on the shelf Tengstedt will miss Sunday's match versus Torino due to a relapse of his thigh injury, Verona announced.
Impact Tengstedt had gotten hurt before the break but missed just one game and came off the bench in the last tilt. He'll take some exams to assess the damage and whether he'll have to skip further matches. Amin Sarr, Daniel Mosquera and Dailon Livramento will continue to shoulder the weight of the attack.
APRIL 4 • ROTOWIRE
Diego Coppola - Leads defense in draw Coppola recorded four tackles (three won), 10 clearances and two interceptions in Monday's 0-0 draw versus Parma.
Impact Coppola continues to play with a maturity beyond his years in defense. In Monday's draw against Parma, he won seven of his 11 duels, won three of his four tackles, made two interceptions, and completed 45 of his 46 passes. Coppola has been on a good run of form for the club since February, and they will need him to be resolute at the back once again this Sunday against Torino.
APRIL 2 • ROTOWIRE
Ondrej Duda - Good day in midfield Duda registered five crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Monday's 0-0 draw versus Parma.
Impact Duda was able to bring a sense of creativity and brightness to Verona's midfield on Monday. In 90 minutes played, the Slovakian international created one chance, successfully completed all three of his dribble attempts, and made seven passes into the final third. Duda has just three goal contributions in Serie A this season, but has been one of Verona's steadiest players throughout the campaign.
APRIL 2 • ROTOWIRE
Amin Sarr - Minimal impact in draw Sarr had one shot (zero on goal) in Monday's 0-0 draw versus Parma.
Impact The game script did not favor Sarr against Parma on Monday, despite the home side being able to secure a draw. Parma were able to keep 58 percent of the possession, and Sarr had just 31 touches in 83 minutes played. However, he did manage to make four passes into the final third and win five of his nine aerial duels. He will look to have a better match against Torino this Sunday.
