Impact Serdar has decided to play through a partially torn ACL after rehabbing for six weeks, coach Paolo Zanetti revealed, as the knee is stable enough for now. He might not be able to return to his previous workload and will be at risk of undergoing surgery if the situation worsens. He'll rotate with Cheikh Niasse and Roberto Gagliardini as long as he feels well enough to play.

Impact Belghali will serve a one-game tilt while taking part in the international competition and will skip at least two further fixtures. His return will hinge on how far his side advances. Fallou Cham and Daniel Oyegoke are the next men up on the right wing for Verona.

Lorenzo Montipo - Beaten by own goal Montipo recorded four saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 2-1 win against Fiorentina.
Impact Montipo can't be faulted much for the own goal, which took a deflection off his own player after he saved a shot. The goalkeeper ultimately got bailed out by his teammates in the 2-1 win. He has a tough matchup looming against AC Milan, a team which has hit home 24 goals so far in Serie A play.
DECEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Orban provided a big spark off the bench, including putting in the winning goal in stoppage time to give Verona all three points. He'll likely get an extended look or potentially even start now against AC Mlian but its a tough matchup, as the side has only allowed 13 goals in 15 Serie A matches.
DECEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Antoine Bernede - Assists on winner Bernede assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Fiorentina.
Impact Bernede made a great pass on the winning goal, keeping the ball in bounds as he slotted it to Gift Orban for the finish. The midfielder will be asked to create more moments like this against a tough AC Milan defense next week. AC Milan have only given up 13 goals so far in Serie A play.
DECEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Unai Nunez - Responsible for own goal Nunez generated an own goal, two tackles (one won) and eight clearances in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Fiorentina. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 95th minute.

Antoine Bernede - Scores in victory Bernede scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 win versus Atalanta.
Impact Bernede sealed the game for Verona with a well-placed shot into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box after a good assist from Giovane. He has started 12 of Verona's 14 league matches in central midfield, and while it has been a tough season for the team, he has been solid defensively with 30 tackles and 52 duels won. This match showed what he can also contribute going forward. Bernede will look to build on this strong performance against last-place Fiorentina.
DECEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Mosquera - Assists in victory Mosquera assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-1 victory against Atalanta.
Impact Mosquera played a well-placed backheel pass to set up Rafik Belghali for a strong finish. His season has had plenty of ups and downs with inconsistent playing time in Verona's attack, but he has now started the last two matches, which are the only league games he has started this season. He is beginning to make a case for a consistent spot in the lineup, and both of his goal contributions have come in his last three appearances. Mosquera will look to continue his starting streak and produce another good performance against a Fiorentina side that sits directly below Verona in the standings.
DECEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Rafik Belghali - Scores against Atalanta Belghali scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and four crosses (zero accurate) in Saturday's 3-1 victory against Atalanta.
Impact Belghali scored his second league goal of the season, finding the net in back-to-back matches as his form continues to improve since joining Verona in August. He has created 15 chances and delivered nine accurate crosses this season, showcasing his attacking ability from right midfield. Verona have struggled as they battle relegation, but Belghali has been one of the few bright spots. He will look to continue his strong form against a weak Fiorentina side that sits directly below Verona in the table.
DECEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Lorenzo Montipo - Concedes late goal in victory Montipo registered three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Atalanta.
Impact Montipo put in a solid performance, keeping Atalanta from scoring in open play before conceding a late penalty. It has been a difficult season for both Montipo and the Verona defense, who are battling relegation and have allowed 1.5 goals per match. They will look to build on this performance against a Fiorentina side that sits below them in the table and has scored only 11 league goals this season.
DECEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Grigoris Kastanos - Subs in late versus Atalanta Kastanos (lower leg) was inserted near the end of Saturday's 3-1 victory over Atalanta, registering one pass and committing one foul.
Impact Kastanos recovered from his second injury in short order but didn't play much even though Verona were without Roberto Gagliardini (suspension), Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro (ankle) and Suat Serdar (knee) in the midfield. He'll continue to be a deep option.
DECEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Roberto Gagliardini - Eligible to face Fiorentina Gagliardini cleared a one-match disqualification in Saturday's 3-1 win over Atalanta.
Impact Gagliardi will be an option for Sunday's fixture versus Fiorentina and likely return to the starting XI, even though Cheikh Niasse and Al-Musrati both made good use of their opportunity in the previous tilts. He has posted at least one clearance in his last nine displays, totaling 20 and adding 21 tackles (13 won), 17 interceptions and five crosses (two accurate).

Impact Kastanos was likely to be fit Saturday and is on the team sheet, with the midfielder recovering from a leg injury to earn a spot on the bench. He has only appeared off the bench three times all season for 18 minutes of play, likely to return to a bench spot moving forward.
DECEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Suat Serdar - Continues to miss time Serdar (knee) hasn't been selected for Saturday's fixture against Atalanta.
Impact Serdar hasn't played in a month and will stay on the mend because of a knee sprain, even though the coach stated he had resumed practicing a couple of weeks ago. Verona will turn to Al-Musrati, Cheikh Niasse, Yellu Santiago next to Antoine Bernede and Abdou Harroui since Roberto Gagliardini (suspension) and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro (ankle) are missing too.
DECEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Grigoris Kastanos - Available versus Atalanta Kastanos (lower leg) has made Verona's squad list to face Atalanta on Saturday.
Impact Kastanos is returning after skipping two contests due to a knock. He wasn't a big factor before two minor injuries in short order, but Verona are significantly depleted in the midfield, so he has more chances to get minutes than in standard situations. He has notched one off-target shot, one key pass, two crosses (one accurate) and one corner in three short cameos so far.
DECEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Jean Akpa - Missing against versus Atalanta Akpa Akpro (ankle) hasn't been called up for Saturday's clash with Atalanta.
Impact Akpa Akpro will skip the second game in a row due to a bruised ankle. Since Suat Serdar (knee) and Roberto Gagliardini (suspension) are unavailable as well, backups Al-Musrati, Cheikh Niasse and Yellu Santiago play more than usual Saturday.
DECEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Domagoj Bradaric - Sidelined for a while Bradaric suffered a myofascial lesion of the left biceps femoris against Genoa, Verona informed.
Impact Bradaric picked up a strain and will likely return only in early January. Martin Frese will take over the starting role at left wing-back, backed up by Fallou Cham and Daniel Oyegoke, while Nahuel Valentini will have fewer competition in the back.
DECEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Cheikh Niasse - Shows well in Genoa game Niasse won four of seven tackles and recorded one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Genoa.
Impact Niasse drew his second start of the season, and the first since the opener, as Verona were depleted in the midfield and responded with a fine two-way display, posting new season highs in key passes and tackles. He'll likely get another chance versus Atalanta, as Roberto Gagliardini will be suspended and Suat Serdar (knee) and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro (ankle) are banged up. He has featured eight times so far, notching four chances created, two crosses (one accurate), nine tackles (five won) and three interceptions
NOVEMBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
Victor Nelsson - Holds his own against Genoa Nelsson recorded two tackles (two won), four clearances, one block and four interceptions in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Genoa.
Impact Nelsson had an excellent defensive display, but it wasn't enough to prevent the opponents from finding the back of the net twice. He posted a new season high in interceptions and resumed registering tackles after four matches. He has tallied four or more clearances in the last five rounds, racking up 42 and logging 11 interceptions and five blocks over that span, with one clean sheet.
