The Seattle Sounders are the new MLS Cup champions and it's a safe bet that a lot of people in Seattle followed the dramatic penalty kick shootout. But the Seattle Seahawks, who are in Wisconsin preparing for their clash against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, were watching too.

Quarterback Russell Wilson shared the team's reaction to the moment Roman Torres scored the game-winning penalty kick on Instagram:

Wilson is pretty excited, but Richard Sherman sitting next to him jumps out of his seat and gets a round of high-fives going. "We got a title," Sherman adds. Seattle sports teams supporting Seattle sports teams – that's a nice sight to see.

The Mariners got in on the action, too, noting that Stefan Frei is pretty darn good with his hands in the air:

And athletes weren't the only famous Seattle residents who offered their congratulations to the Sounders.

Seattle-area rapper Macklemore was pretty pumped:

"Price Is Right" host Drew Carey, a part-owner of the Sounders, was at the match, but still took the time to tweet out a congrats to Sounders fans:

And hit R&B singer Ciara, who happens to be married to the Seahawks' Wilson, also tweeted her congrats:

Then you have "Saturday Night Live" comedian Leslie Jones, who isn't actually a Seattleite, but she's basically an honorary one ever since she discovered soccer and made the Sounders her club:

It's been a long time coming for the Sounders, who joined MLS in 2009. Carey said there will be a parade in Seattle on Tuesday to celebrate the win, but for now, the well-wishes on social media should do just fine for the new MLS Cup champs.
