Impact Meret had a great season opener for Napoli, being flawless when called into action and leaving the pitch with his first clean sheet of the season despite having his side playing with one man down since the 23rd minute. The goalkeeper will probably be much more tested during next Sunday's visit to Genoa.

Kostas Manolas - Makes three clearances in win Manolas made one tackle (won), three clearances and one interception while helping his side to keep a clean sheet during Sunday's 2-0 win over Venezia.

Impact Manolas didn't rack up any huge fantasy stat, but was part of a very solid defense that handled the opposing attack very well despite Napoli had to play with one man down since the 23rd minute. The centre back will probably be on much higher demand during next Sunday's visit to Genoa, so expect some great numbers from him.

Eljif Elmas - Scores off bench in win Elmas scored a goal off his lone shot, made three tackles (all won) and two clearances and drew two fouls after coming off the bench during Sunday's 2-0 win over Venezia.

Impact Elmas was brought in the 35th minute, replacing injured Piotr Zielinski (thigh), and did a great job on the left flank, which included the goal that sealed the 2-0 win for Napoli. The youngster was mostly an option off the bench last season, but could receive more opportunities during this campaign. If Zielinski isn't able to recover for next Sunday's visit to Genoa, Elmas is the most probable option for the starting XI.

Lorenzo Insigne - Converts PK, misses another in win Insigne scored a penalty goal, missed another penalty, had five shots (one on target), created one chance and sent in two crosses (one accurate) during Sunday's 2-0 win over Venezi...

Impact Insigne wasn't at his best here and even missed a penalty kick in the 57th minute. Luckily for him, there was another opportunity from the spot five minutes later so he was able to redeem himself and open the scoring for Napoli. Up next for Insigne is Sunday's visit to Genoa.
