Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie will miss the start of Serie A due to a shoulder injury

Filip Djuricic - Signs with Sampdoria Djuricic joined Sampdoria on a two-year contract with an option for a third season after leaving Sassuolo, it was announced Monday.

Impact Djuricic returns to the club for which he's spent the most time in Italy after spending the last five years between Benevento and Sassuolo. He missed much of last season with a thigh injury, scoring twice and assisting once in 12 appearances (nine starts). Should he be able to play more, Djuricic could be capable of decent production, though unlikely to be a spectacular player.

Maxime Leverbe - Returns to Sampdoria Leverbe has joined Sampdoria on a season-long loan with option to buy from Pisa, the team announced.

Impact Leverbe is a youth product of Sampdoria but never got a chance to feature for the first team. He will have it in the upcoming season after spending time in Serie B at Chievo and Pisa, collecting 92 appearances. Sampdoria need to replace Maya Yoshida in the back, but Jeison Murillo is still at the club after returning from a temporary spell at Celta Vigo and is the frontrunner to partner Omar Colley.
