The winger hasn't shown the same scoring touch in 2023 as his eight goals in 2022, but put together a nice finish to open his account Wednesday. Gauld retains a major role in the starting XI, with any sort of good form giving him a great chance to breakout.

Gauld is up to 24 chances created and 15 shots in eight matches and somehow has yet to earn a goal contribution. With this sort of volume it's impossible to imagine Gauld not catching fire at some point. To put it in perspective in 2022 Gauld created 50 chances in 28 matches and assisted nine times, he's on pace to double that total and yet has no goal contributions.
