Yankuba Minteh - Provides assist in win Minteh assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-1 victory against Brentford.
Impact Minteh set the tone in the eighth minute by laying back for Mats Wieffer, whose shot forced Caoimhin Kelleher into an early save. He then delivered the superb right-flank cross that Danny Welbeck scored to tie the game in the 71st minute. Minteh matched his season highs with three shots and four chances created, serving as the main threat in the frontline for the Seagulls and constantly putting pressure on the Bees defense with his runs and dribbles from the right wing. Minteh is scoring fewer goals this season for Brighton but has already tied his four-assist total from last season and will look to add to his tally in Sunday's clash against Forest.

Jack Hinshelwood - Comeback winner off bench Hinshelwood scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brentford.
Impact Hinshelwood came on as a second-half substitute after clearing the ankle injury that had sidelined him since mid-September and delivered the 84th-minute winner, volleying in after Yankuba Minteh's shot was only partially cleared. The strike on his return from injury capped a storybook outing in front of the home crowd. Beyond the goal he added energy in midfield and helped Brighton keep Brentford penned back, contributing one tackle and creating one chance as well.

Danny Welbeck - Scores equalizer in victory Welbeck scored one goal to go with four shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brentford.
Impact Welbeck missed a big chance early in the second half against the Bees but scored the equalizer in the 71st minute, steering in Yankuba Minteh's excellent low cross to tie the game. His movement repeatedly pulled Brentford's center backs into uncomfortable areas and helped Brighton sustain pressure after the interval. The goal continued his strong run across seven games in which he scored seven goals in total. Welbeck found a season-high four shots against the Bees, raising his impact as a captain game after game this season.

Bart Verbruggen - Saves penalty to secure win Verbruggen registered three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brentford. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 94th minute.
Impact Verbruggen was sent the wrong way by Igor Thiago's first-half penalty and had relatively little to do outside two routine stops. The match turned in his favour at the death when he waited out Igor Thiago's run-up and got down sharply to save the stoppage-time penalty that allowed the Seagulls to secure the win. That intervention preserved Brighton's comeback and elevated a solid outing into a match-defining one. Verbruggen will hope to build on that performance against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Igor Thiago - Scores opener from spot Thiago scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Brighton.
Impact Thiago thought he had opened the scoring in the 22nd minute before an offside flag cut short the celebrations, but he did put Brentford ahead from the spot in the 29th minute after Carlos Baleba fouled Dango Ouattara in the box. He dispatched that first penalty with a stuttering run-up and a no-look finish into the bottom left corner, marking his ninth league goal of the season and his fourth from the spot in 12 appearances. Deep into stoppage time he earned a second penalty after Maxim De Cuyper pulled down Kevin Schade, only for his tame effort to be saved by Bart Verbruggen, leaving him unable to help the team secure a point away from home.

Caoimhin Kelleher - Concedes two in loss Kelleher made three saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 loss against Brighton.
Impact Kelleher kept Brighton out early with a sharp save on Mats Wieffer's effort after Yankuba Minteh cut the ball back inside eight minutes. This was his first stop on a total of three against the Seagulls, as he could do little about Danny Welbeck's first-time finish from Minteh's cross in the 71st minute or Jack Hinshelwood's 84th-minute half-volley that squirmed past him to complete the turnaround. Kelleher will hope to find a shutout against Burnley on Saturday since he has conceded in each of his last four outings with the Bees.
