Ariel Lassister - On bench Saturday Lassiter (not injury related) is on the bench in Saturday's meeting with New York Red Bulls.
Impact Lassiter will look to bounce back after being sidelined due to an unknown reason. The attacker has been an occasional option on the wings lately, taking some corner kicks when he's on the pitch. He should be a viable alternative to current starters Kristoffer Velde, Matias Rojas and Antony.

Maxime Crepeau - Enters concussion protocol Crepeau will miss Tuesday's friendly against Wales due to concussion protocol, according to Jeremy Filosa of 985 Sports.
Impact Crepeau is not going to be an option for Canada as they play their second friendly of the break, with the goalie now in concussion protocol. This will be something to monitor for Portland as they return to play, as he is their starter. That said, he will be in jeopardy of missing Saturday's match against the Red Bulls, with James Pantemis as a possible replacement.
SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Kamal Miller - Unused substitute Sunday Miller (lower body) remained an unused substitute in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota, confirming he is back available for Portland.
Impact Miller is back available for the Timbers after missing one game due to a lower body injury. The defender was an option off bench on Sunday against Minnesota and will likely return to a starting role in upcoming fixtures now that he is back available.
SEPTEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Matias Rojas - Busy in second game with Portland Rojas had three shots on goal, created one chance and sent in four crosses (two accurate) during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota.
Impact Rojas still had his playing time capped but had a much better performance than the one he had in his league debut as he was involved in a lot of scoring occasions while he was on the pitch. Still in search of his top form, the playmaker brings a lot of upside for a Portland team still fighting for a playoff berth and it shouldn't take much longer for the impact to also be felt from a fantasy perspective.
SEPTEMBER 2 • ROTOWIRE
Antony Alves Santos - Active display in draw Antony had three shots (two on target), created one chance, made four tackles (three won) and suffered three fouls during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota.
Impact Antony returned to the starting XI after coming off the bench during the previous game and was a constant threat from the left flank, with his contributions including the play that led to Portland's first goal. The winger is still to score or assist since returning from the hamstring injury that sidelined him for more than a month but this performance indicates he's getting closer to his top form, something that definitely increases his fantasy upside.
SEPTEMBER 2 • ROTOWIRE
Kristoffer Velde - Takes five shots in draw Velde had five shots (one on target), created three chances and suffered six fouls during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota.
Impact Velde was his team's biggest threat up front, pacing them in shots attempted while also creating a lot for teammates. After a quiet MLS debut in his previous outing, the attacker finally showed why he was brought as a reinforcement for the final stretch of the season.
SEPTEMBER 2 • ROTOWIRE
James Pantemis - Allows late goal in draw Pantemis made five saves and conceded one goal during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota.
Impact Pantemis made his second consecutive start and was on verge of keeping back-to-back clean sheets, but them came Robin Lod to ruin his plans with a clinical finish in the 85th minute. With another great performance since being named the starting goalkeeper over Maxime Crepeau, Pantemis will need to be at his best during the final stretch of regular season not only to keep his spot but also to help his team clinching a playoff berth.

Felipe Carballo - Forced off Saturday Carballo was unable to continue in the 43rd minute of Saturday's match against Minnesota United.
Impact Carballo went down with a physical problem after being active in midfield throughout the first half against Minnesota. He has made a couple of starts since joining the Timbers in August, and he could remain an important piece of the team's formation if he's eligible after the international break. However, he might need to rest a few weeks due to the injury. His potential absence would benefit Diego Chara, who served as his substitute in the last match.

Impact Portland's goalkeeper didn't face many challenges, as most of San Diego FC's attempts were nowhere near the target. Pantemis is hoping for a similar situation Saturday when facing another high-scoring team in Minnesota United. They've scored 47 goals so far in 28 MLS matches.

He has over 200 appearances in his career with 47 goals and 22 assists, earning five goals and two assists in his 16 appearances (10 starts) when last in MLS. Ariel Lassister - First goal contribution of 2025 Lassiter assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 3-2 loss versus FC Cincinnati.
Impact Lassiter's first half assist opened the scoring for Portland, though they would be outdone by Cincinnati in a 3-2 home defeat. The seldomly depended upon forward made the most of his 83 minutes of play by creating three chances from four crosses (zero accurate) and two corners. The three chances created account for half of the six total chances Lassiter has created across 16 appearances (four starts) in 2025.

Impact Kelsy's first half goal and second half penalty conversion nearly brought Portland back from the brink Saturday. However, the forward's sixth and seventh goals of the season came in vain as Portland fell in a 3-2 loss to Cincinnati. Kelsy's inclusion in the starting XI Saturday was his first after being used as a substitute in Portland's three preceding fixtures.
AUGUST 18 • ROTOWIRE
Maxime Crepeau - Allows three goals in loss Crepeau registered two saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-2 loss to FC Cincinnati.
Impact Crepeau conceded three goals from five Cincinnati shots on target Saturday as Portland were outclassed in a 3-2 defeat. The three goals conceded mark Crepeau's first appearance in which he's conceded greater than twice since May. Over his last five starting appearances, Portland's first-choice keeper has made 12 saves and one clearance while conceding seven goals and frecording one clean sheet. Crepeau will look to bounce back Saturday when Portland travel to face San Diego.
