Torn ACL confirmed Salisu will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL, according to his club.

Impact Salisu suffered a knee injury to end Sunday's match and after he was taken in for evaluation, it was decided the defender had suffered a torn ACL. Unfortunately, the defender will miss the remainder of the season and potentially the first few months of the next season, facing around seven to nine months of recovery. The club will have to do without a regular defender for the rest of the season, with Christian Mawissa Elbe as his likely replacement moving forward.

Own goal in draw Salisu generated an own goal and 12 clearances in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Pafos. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 91st minute.

Impact Salisu had the misfortune of accounting for an own goal in the draw, but he also recorded 54 completed passes, which marks a high among four UCL appearances this season. On the other hand, this was the first time among the four outings that he failed to record an interception. He also has not administered a tackle in any of the four matches.
