Fails to return from injury Salisu missed the final two months of the season with a pelvis injury that he suffered in March.

Impact Salisu was a regular on the back line until injuries prevented him from playing. Originally a minor hip issue, he went out on international duty in March and likely made it worse, having not returned since. When healthy, he started almost every match for Southampton the last two seasons, including 21 starts in the most recent campaign.
