Yohei Takaoka - Heroic in finale Takaoka made six saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-0 loss versus Los Angeles Football Club.
Impact Takaoka did everything asked of him and gave his club a chance, stopping six of the seven shots he faced. It wasn't enough in the end and the goalkeeper's first season with Vancouver now comes to an end. He finishes with 35 starts, eight clean sheets and 103 saves while conceding 51 goals behind a very leaky defensive unit. Takaoka had excellent stretches but will hope to find some more consistency in 2024.

Alessandro Schopf - Limited off bench Schopf had one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Sunday's 1-0 defeat against Los Angeles Football Club. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 91st minut...
Impact Schopf fell to the bench for what turned out to be Vancouver's elimination game. It's an awfully disappointing end to the season for Schopf, who made 30 appearances (22 starts) and had seemingly earned a consistent role. Still some poor form in the closing stages evidently cost Schopf, and left him with just nine minutes to try and keep the season alive Sunday.

Ali Ahmed - Busy in defeat Ahmed generated two shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Los Angeles Football Club.
Impact Ahmed was trusted when it mattered most in the final match of the MLS playoffs for Vancouver. He had another solid showing, creating a pair of chances and nearly earning an assist. Ahmed will now head into the offseason with eyes on earning a full time role in the starting XI after making 24 appearances (13 starts) in 2023.

Brian White - Shut out to end season White recorded six shots (two on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 1-0 loss against Los Angeles Football Club.
Impact White's season comes to an end as Vancouver are eliminated from the MLS Cup playoffs. The striker was desperate to get on the scoresheet Sunday but just couldn't quite find the break through. White finishes perhaps his best yet MLS season with 16 goals and four assists while putting himself firmly in the MVP conversation.

Maxime Crepeau - Clean sheet to advance Crepeau had five saves and allowed zero goals in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Impact Crepeau stopped all five shots he faced to earn a spot in the second round of the playoffs. The goalkeeper made some truly heroic saves throughout the match and did well to earn the clean sheet. Crepeau will need to continue this excellence if LAFC want to make a deep MLS Cup run.

Kellyn Acosta - Corner role continues Acosta recorded five crosses (two accurate) and five corners in Sunday's 1-0 win against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Impact Acosta had five crosses, all coming from corners, in another busy showing during the win. The midfielder has been a major piece of the starting XI and his role on set-pieces is giving him a solid floor moving forward. Acosta and LAFC will move on to the second round of the MLS Cup playoffs after sweeping Vancouver.
