At first, the midfielder was waiting for his visa, however he had also picked up an injury in the process that remained him on the sidelines. He will look to make his MLS debut after moving from Ukraine during the winter break.

George Campbell - Still not training Campbell (groin) was not seen training with the team Tuesday as he was not an option during the 2-0 loss to Vancouver, per Syd Fw of BMP Sports Network.
Impact Campbell is still not training on the grass as he continues to recover from a groin injury. He's only played in one match to open the campaign, recording four interceptions with three clearances against Atlanta. In the meantine, Ousman Jabang will remain at center back in his place in the starting XI.

Giacomo Vrioni - Training without contact Vrioni (groin) was training with non contact on Tuesday as he is still not an option for Montreal, reports Syd Fw of BPM Sports.
Impact Vrioni continues to work back from his groin injury, as he is inching closer to training fully. He signed to Montreal in the offseason, recording 26 starts in 31 MLS appearances in 2024 with New England, totaling nine goals with an assist.

Yohei Takaoka - Two-save clean sheet Takaoka registered two saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus CF Montreal.
Impact Takaoka stopped a pair of shots and that was all he had to do to come away with the clean sheet. The goalkeeper is off to a brilliant start to 2025, especially with the Vancouver defense looking solid in front of him. Takaoka will hope to keep that going moving forward as he looks to finally establish himself as one of the top goalkeepers in MLS.

Ahmed is able to play anywhere throughout the midfield and attack and offers plenty going forward any time he's on the pitch. Ahmed will continue to play a large role due to his versatility, though that can change his upside week-to-week.
