This is a bright start for the midfielder, who looks likely to carve out a solid role amongst the club.

Impact Tagseth debuted in MLS play Saturday after his move from Rosenborg this summer, starting immediately and seeing 89 minutes of play. He was solid in his time on the field, notching three chances created and eight crosses in the draw. He did see 10 goal contributions in 26 appearances with Rosenborg last season, so he is a midfielder with a presence around the net.

Impact Surridge saw the start and 90 minutes Saturday, continuing in the same starting spot he held last season, starting in 27 of his 28 appearances. Impact Mukhtar was all over the field making plays Saturday but was unable to will his team to a win while also going without a goal contribution, seeing three chances created, four shots and five crosses in the draw. He will hope to keep these types of performances up while also adding goal contributions, as he is looking to return to the 20-goal contribution form he held at a point, only seeing 16 last season.

Joe Willis - Clean sheet against Revs Willis had one save and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus the New England Revolution.
Impact Wills was dealt a very quiet in net Saturday, only facing one shot on target while earning a clean sheet. This is a good start for the keeper who saw eight clean sheets in 30 appearances last season. He will look to see a second clean sheet in their next match against NYRB, who were shut out by Cincinnati in their opener.
