Signs with Bournemouth Akinmboni signed with Bournemouth from D.C. United, the club announced.

Impact Akinmboni didn't break into the starting XI during his third season with D.C. but he did enough to earn a move to England. The defender is one for the future, but when he did play he showed flashes of excellence at center-back. He will link up with the Bournemouth youth team to continue his development with the Cherries.
