Signs with Brighton Dahoud has signed a four-year contract with Brighton away from Borussia Dortmund.
Impact It's a smart signing for Brighton, as they'll need bodies in the midfield due to departing players, as well as European play. Dahoud struggled with injuries this past season, but he'd started 35 Bundesliga matches the prior two campaigns and figures to immediately fight for time in Brighton's midfield with both Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister gone.

Pair of interceptions Dahoud registered one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 6-1 win versus 1. FC Koln. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 66th minute.
Impact Dahoud was tasked with a more defensive role in midfield and he fulfilled it well, making a pair of interceptions and breaking up the Koln attacks. When Emre Can and Salih Ozcan are both fully fit it's more likely than not that Dahoud returns to the bench. Still with a busy end to the season on the cards there should be plenty of space for rotation.

AUGUST 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Busy for win Dahoud created a chance and made two tackles and interceptions during Friday's 3-1 win over Freiburg.
Impact Dahoud has been a nailed-on starter so far in the 2022/23 campaign and has done well to fill the stat sheet in each of the first two matches. The midfielder was in and out of the starting XI last time out but seems to have a slightly more solidified role for the new season.
AUGUST 17, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Twenty starts Dahoud made 22 appearances and 20 starts during the 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign.
Impact Dahoud was once again a rotational option for Dortmund. The midfielder was brought in from Gladbach in 2017 with the hope that he could repeat his goal contributing brilliance. It's never quite clicked for Dahoud, who once again found himself struggling for playing time, and stuck in a more box-to-box role. That said he may finally have found his footing somewhat with the club, as Dahoud produced two goals and three assists, his best return so far for The Black and Yellow.
JUNE 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Dahoud assisted Marco Reus for the opening goal of the match in the 18th minute, but couldn't provide much fantasy-wise during the rest of the match. Late call Saturday Dahoud (strain) will be a late decision for Saturday's clash with Hoffenheim, according to manager Marco Rose.
Impact Dahoud is going to be a late call as his status will be decided late in Friday training, as well as pre-game warm-ups. If he can't go then Jude Bellingham and Axel Witsel will continue their starting roles.

Goal, assist in win Dahoud scored once and provided one assist during Friday's 5-1 win over Freiburg.
Impact Dahoud scored his second goal of the campaign and notched his first assist during Friday's rout. The midfielder tends to be a limited fantasy option with his role, but he has three goal contributions in the last two matches. Dahoud is an interesting play based on his form alone and is worth considering next time out against Hoffenheim.

Retains set-piece duty Dahoud sent in 11 crosses, six accurate, creating four chances during Saturday's one-all draw with Bochum.
Impact Dahoud has stayed on set-pieces recently and is making the most of the plethora of corners Dortmund produce. The midfielder has little to no open field value, but he has a safe floor purely off his set-piece duty. Next up is a Wednesday clash with Greuther Furth.

Provides two assists in UCL win Dahoud provided two assists, had five shots (one on target), created four chances and sent in five crosses (three accurate) during Tuesday's 5-0 Champions League win over Besiktas.
Impact Dahoud was one of Dortmund's biggest factors on the offensive end, suffering the penalty that led to a red card for the defender and before being converted and then assisted two other goals during the second half. This was arguably the best performance of the season for the midfielder, who was sidelined for seven games between October and November due to a knee injury. He'll try to keep it up during Saturday's Bundesliga visit to Bochum.

OCTOBER 29, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Available Saturday Dahoud (knee) should be available Saturday against Koln, according to manager Marco Rose.
Impact Dahoud should be an option for Saturday's clash with Koln, and is expected to make his return "in the next few days." The midfielder should play a big role off the bench at the very least, and it's possible that role could expand with an on-going injury crisis.
