Impact The 21-year-old Albania goalkeeper spent the 2025/26 season on loan at both Ingolstadt and Kaiserslautern, making three total appearances -- one in the 2. Bundesliga and two in the DFB Pokal -- and allowing seven goals. He's widely expected to leave the club on loan again for the 2026/27 campaign.

Jessic Ngankam - Returning from loan spell Ngankam has returned to Frankfurt after his loan spell at Wolfsberger in the second half of the 2026/27 season.
Impact Ngankam joined Wolfsberger in the winter after failing to play much during the first half of the 2025/26 campaign. However, injuries limited him to just one goal across eight appearances and 404 minutes. It wouldn't be surprising if he leaves the club on loan again this summer.

Elye Wahi - Back in Germany Wahi will return to parent club Eintracht Frankfurt following the conclusion of his loan spell at Nice, though discussions are ongoing over a potential permanent move to the French...
Impact Wahi made 14 Ligue 1 appearances including 11 starts across 926 minutes for Nice, contributing five goals and one assist alongside 15 chances created, while also representing Ivory Coast at the World Cup. Wahi had previously spent time at Frankfurt in the first half of the season, making 10 Bundesliga appearances and one Champions League outing, and now returns to the German club as both parties assess his future ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Eric Ebimbe - Returns to Frankfurt Junior will return to parent club Eintracht Frankfurt following the conclusion of his loan spell at Brest.
Impact Junior made 27 Ligue 1 appearances including 15 starts across 1,167 minutes, contributing five goals and nine chances created alongside 25 tackles and six interceptions throughout the campaign. Junior had previously made 57 Bundesliga appearances across two full seasons for Frankfurt, scoring eight goals and providing four assists, and now heads back to the club where his future will be assessed heading into the 2026/27 season.

Fares Chaibi - Plays 90 for fourth game Chaibi registered one shot (one on goal) and two chances created in Thursday's 2-0 defeat versus Switzerland. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 36th minute.
Impact Chaibi played the full 90 minutes for the fourth game in a row, but unfortunately, Algeria were knocked out of the tournament by Switzerland. He took a shot and put it on target, making it three games in a row that he has put a shot on target. He doubled his number of chances created to bring him to four for the tournament.

Bayern signs Germany left back Nathaniel Brown from Frankfurt for reported $63 million

Bayern Munich has signed Germany left back Nathaniel “Nene” Brown from Bundesliga rival Eintracht Frankfurt for a reported fee of $63 million
6 DAYS AGO • Associated Press
Niels Nkounkou - Sent back to Eintracht Frankfurt Nkounkou wasn't signed by Torino permanently following a loan spell.
Impact Nkounkou saw some action early in the season but quickly fell out of favor, featuring just 11 times (three starts), assisting once and notching 20 crosses (six accurate), 16 tackles and 15 clearances, with no clean sheets. It's uncertain whether he'll be given another shot at Eintracht Frankfurt.
JULY 3 • ROTOWIRE
Ouassim Karada - Signs for Frankfurt until 2031 Karada has joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Kickers Offenbach on a contract until June 2031, the club announced.
Impact Karada made 32 Regionalliga appearances last season, contributing one goal and eight assists while establishing himself as a regular starter for Offenbach. The full-back, who can also operate further forward on the right flank, won the Hessenpokal with Offenbach in 2024 and now joins his hometown club after developing through the Mainz academy. Sporting director Timmo Hardung praised his standout performances in the Regionalliga and outlined a clear development pathway to gradually integrate him into professional football.
JULY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Arthur Theate - Records six clearances Theate registered one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Senegal.
Impact Theate would not leave the field for Belgium on Wednesday, as the defender played the full 120 minutes to beat Senegal. He will be disappointed to have allowed two goals, although he slightly recovered with one interception and six clearances. He has now started in two starting for Belgium as they advance into the round of 16.
JULY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Ritsu Doan - Subpar showing in loss Doan had two tackles (zero won) and three clearances in Monday's 2-1 defeat versus Brazil.
Impact Doan was expected to be an attacking threat on the right flank for Japan, but considering he had to deal with the threat of Vinicius Junior, it's not surprising to see him operating in a more defensive stance. Even though Doan fits best as a winger, he's capable of covering the entire flank. In four World Cup starts, the Frankfurt winger notched one assist, seven clearances, four tackles, one chance created and five crosses.
JUNE 29 • ROTOWIRE
Fares Chaibi - Takes three shots in draw Chaibi generated three shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 3-3 draw versus Austria.
Impact Chaibi co-led Algeria in shots during the match and finished their group stage participation with eight shots in three starts. The midfielder also made the second-most clearances (three) to help them on defense. He played all their 270 minutes so far and should be a key piece in the squad for their Round of 32 contest against Switzerland on Jul 3.
JUNE 29 • ROTOWIRE
Arthur Theate - Solid in defense in victory Theate registered four shots (one on goal) in Friday's 5-1 victory versus New Zealand.
Impact Theate made his first start of the tournament at center-back alongside Brandon Mechele and anchored a Belgian back line that didn't allow New Zealand a single shot in the entire first half. He went the distance in a dominant defensive performance, with Belgium's only blemish coming on Elijah Just's late consolation goal, while contributing four shots (one on target), one tackle, two interceptions and five clearances. Theate helped Belgium cruise to a 5-1 victory, securing top spot in Group G and a place in the Round of 32.
JUNE 27 • ROTOWIRE
Ellyes Skhiri - Scores own goal Skhiri had an own goal and four clearances in Thursday's 3-1 defeat to Netherlands.
Impact Skhiri's night began in the worst possible fashion when he inadvertently turned the ball into his own net after just three minutes, handing the Netherlands an early lead. He later responded with a committed all-round display, registering four clearances, three blocked shots and a goal-line clearance while completing 92% of his passes, but the early own goal proved costly in Tunisia's final World Cup outing.
JUNE 26 • ROTOWIRE
Ritsu Doan - Assist during draw Doan assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Thursday's 1-1 draw versus Sweden.
Impact Doan would earn the assist on Japan's lone goal Thursday, finding Daizen Maeda in the 56th minute for the opener. This does give Doan his first goal contribution of the tournament, coming after one shot and a chance created. That said, after a slow start to play, he will hope this is the boost he needed, not recording a single shot or chance created in their opening two games.
JUNE 25 • ROTOWIRE
Timothy Chandler - Signs contract extension until 2027 Chandler has signed a contract extension with Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of the 2026/27 season, the club announced.
Impact Chandler joined the club at age 10 and progressed through every youth team, making 199 competitive appearances for Frankfurt and having returned to the club in 2014 after a spell at Nurnberg and gone on to win the DFB Pokal and UEFA Europa League. Sporting director Timmo Hardung praised his professionalism and influence as a role model for the club's younger players, and Chandler will also gain insight into various areas of the organization through the club's ProfiCamp alongside his playing duties next season.
JUNE 25 • ROTOWIRE
Fares Chaibi - Three corners in 2-1 win Chaibi registered two shots (one on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and three corners in Monday's 2-1 victory against Jordan.
Impact Chaibi took two shots and attempted three crosses as Algeria won 2-1 against Jordan. They will now look to pick up a result in their final game against Austria. With two shots in this game, he now has a total of five shots across the two matches, although he has only one shot on target. He has created a chance in each game and taken four corners in the two matches.
JUNE 23 • ROTOWIRE
Ellyes Skhiri - One tackle in 4-0 defeat Skhiri generated one tackle (one won) and four clearances in Sunday's 4-0 defeat to Japan.
Impact Skhiri made four clearances, second-most by a Tunisia player in the match. However, the 31-year-old will be bitterly disappointed after committing an error which led to a goal from Japan. Skhiri finished with 89.5 percent passing accuracy in the match as well.
JUNE 21 • ROTOWIRE
Ritsu Doan - Quiet despite win Doan recorded one cross and one tackle won in Saturday's 4-0 win over Tunisia.
Impact Doan was not all that involved in Saturday's match despite the win, as the attacker would only record a single cross in the attack. That said, he has not been at his best this tournament thus far, only recording three crosses in his 149 minutes of play. He will need to do better as they look to finish out the group stage strong against Sweden.
JUNE 21 • ROTOWIRE
Fares Chaibi - Takes three shots in loss Chaibi recorded three shots (zero on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Tuesday's 3-0 loss versus Argentina.
Impact Chaibi led Algeria with three shots during the match, but couldn't find the back of the net. The midfielder even scored in the seventh minute, but the goal was disallowed as he was offside. He also took one of their two corner kicks and sent in the second-most crosses for his side.
JUNE 17 • ROTOWIRE
Amil Siljevic - Extends deal until 2029 Siljevic extended his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt through June 2029, after his previous deal had been set to expire in 2027, according to the club.
Impact Siljevic is a Frankfurt native who has spent ten years coming through the club's youth ranks at Riederwald. The 1.92 metre keeper racked up 26 appearances for Eintracht's reserves in the LOTTO Hessenliga last season and was instrumental in their promotion to the Regionalliga. He did not miss a single minute across eight UEFA Youth League matches either as the side advanced to the round of 16. Capped at Bosnia U21 level he now trains regularly with the first team under goalkeeping coach Jan Zimmermann and earned his first inclusion in a Bundesliga matchday squad on Matchday 31 against FC Augsburg.
JUNE 17 • ROTOWIRE
Ellyes Skhiri - Costly mistake in defeat Skhiri had two tackles (zero won) and two interceptions in Sunday's 5-1 loss against Sweden.
Impact Skhiri was Tunisia's hardest-working midfielder in Sunday's 5-1 defeat to Sweden, registering two tackles and two interceptions in a match where his side were consistently outmuscled and outpaced in central areas by a Swedish midfield that controlled the tempo from the first whistle. The Frankfurt midfielder was also directly responsible for Sweden's third goal, losing possession under pressure before Alexander Isak recovered the ball and immediately fed Viktor Gyokeres, who finished clinically to effectively end the contest as a competitive match, a moment that encapsulated Tunisia's collective inability to deal with Sweden's relentless pressing intensity throughout the evening. His experience and leadership on the ball remain Tunisia's most important midfield assets heading into the remainder of the group stage, but avoiding costly turnovers in dangerous areas will be essential if his side are to make the step up needed to stay in World Cup contention.
JUNE 15 • ROTOWIRE
Ritsu Doan - Decent in draw Doan recorded two crosses (zero accurate) and one tackle in Sunday's 2-2 draw versus Netherlands.
Impact Doan put in a decent shift for Japan on Saturday before being replaced by Yukinari Sugawara in the 75th minute against the Netherlands. He registered four defensive contributions, two of which were headed clearances, one tackle, and one duel won, while maintaining a 79 percent pass accuracy. His role with Japan is different from his usual position at Frankfurt, operating more as a wingback in the 3-4-2-1 setup. As a result, expect more defensive involvement from him, while still keeping an eye on his ability to make explosive runs up the right side throughout the World Cup.
JUNE 14 • ROTOWIRE
Ellyes Skhiri - Steady midfield contributor Skhiri should be in contention for a key role in the middle of the pitch for Tunisia after being included in the country's 26-man roster.
Impact Skhiri remains one of Tunisia's most influential players and will likely be tasked with setting the tone in midfield throughout the tournament. The veteran has built a strong reputation in European football thanks to his tireless work rate, defensive intelligence and ability to keep possession moving under pressure. After making 25 appearances (16 starts) in the previous Bundesliga season, he could stand out for his experience at the top level of European play, although he's likely to be busier in defensive midfield tasks rather than attacking numbers. Skhiri frequently ranks among his team's leaders in tackles, recoveries and interceptions, giving him a decent fantasy floor even against the strong opposition he'll face in the World Cup.
