Transfers to Frankfurt
Dahoud completed a permanent transfer to Frankfurt from Brighton, the club announced.
Impact
Dahoud made a permanent move away from Brighton after a disappointing loan spell with Stuttgart. He goes to Frankfurt, where he will likely be a valuable depth option, but probably won't push too hard for major minutes.

Set to return to England
Dahoud will not extend his loan with Stuttgart, returning to Brighton ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Impact
Dahoud was not able to make much of an influence with Stuttgart since joining on loan in the winter, being used as just a bench option in the midfield. He started once on 13 appearances, recording a goal with six crosses (two won) and five tackles (one won).

Struggles for minutes
Dahoud made just 13 appearances (one start) on loan with Stuttgart.
Impact
Dahoud was loaned to Stuttgart with eyes on taking a larger role in the first team. He actually managed to play less minutes than he played with Brighton before going out on loan. In the end it was a very disappointing loan spell for the midfielder.

Eligible to return
Dahoud is eligible to return from a three-match ban for Saturday's clash with Burnley.
Impact
Dahoud served a three-match ban and is now eligible to return after spending more than a month on the sideline. The midfielder has played a good bit in the starting XI of late though Carlos Baleba has done well in the starting XI so it's unclear if Dahoud will return immediately to the pitch.

Starts in Europa League
Dahoud got the start during Thursday's 2-0 win over Ajax.
Impact
Dahoud had a poor game, playing just 65 minutes before coming off. The midfielder has had a tough start to life in Brighton, finding himself on the bench and even unused quite frequently. Still injuries elsewhere in the midfield could force Dahoud into more chances during a very hectic December schedule.

First assist in win
Dahoud provided an assist and placed one shot (off-target) in Sunday's 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth.
Impact
Dahoud did not have a strong game overall, but did manage to create the assist for Kaoru Mitoma's first goal. He was subbed after 74. The German midfielder is still trying to find his feet at Brighton since joining them over the summer from Borussia Dortmund. From five appearances (three starts) this was his first assist.

Signs with Brighton
Dahoud has signed a four-year contract with Brighton away from Borussia Dortmund.
Impact
It's a smart signing for Brighton, as they'll need bodies in the midfield due to departing players, as well as European play. Dahoud struggled with injuries this past season, but he'd started 35 Bundesliga matches the prior two campaigns and figures to immediately fight for time in Brighton's midfield with both Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister gone.

Pair of interceptions
Dahoud registered one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 6-1 win versus 1. FC Koln. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 66th minute.
Impact
Dahoud was tasked with a more defensive role in midfield and he fulfilled it well, making a pair of interceptions and breaking up the Koln attacks. When Emre Can and Salih Ozcan are both fully fit it's more likely than not that Dahoud returns to the bench. Still with a busy end to the season on the cards there should be plenty of space for rotation.

Busy for win
Dahoud created a chance and made two tackles and interceptions during Friday's 3-1 win over Freiburg.
Impact
Dahoud has been a nailed-on starter so far in the 2022/23 campaign and has done well to fill the stat sheet in each of the first two matches. The midfielder was in and out of the starting XI last time out but seems to have a slightly more solidified role for the new season.

Twenty starts
Dahoud made 22 appearances and 20 starts during the 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign.
Impact
Dahoud was once again a rotational option for Dortmund. The midfielder was brought in from Gladbach in 2017 with the hope that he could repeat his goal contributing brilliance. It's never quite clicked for Dahoud, who once again found himself struggling for playing time, and stuck in a more box-to-box role. That said he may finally have found his footing somewhat with the club, as Dahoud produced two goals and three assists, his best return so far for The Black and Yellow.

Provides assist in win
Dahoud made an assist and created two chances during Sunday's 3-0 win over Union Berlin.
Impact
Dahoud assisted Marco Reus for the opening goal of the match in the 18th minute, but couldn't provide much fantasy-wise during the rest of the match. The midfielder has two goals and two assists over his last five outings and will probably remain in the lineup for next Sunday's home matchup against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Late call Saturday
Dahoud (strain) will be a late decision for Saturday's clash with Hoffenheim, according to manager Marco Rose.
Impact
Dahoud is going to be a late call as his status will be decided late in Friday training, as well as pre-game warm-ups. The midfielder is a solid addition when playing and with Giovanni Reyna sidelined Dahoud has gotten consistent playing time. If he can't go then Jude Bellingham and Axel Witsel will continue their starting roles.

ROTOWIRE
Goal, assist in win
Dahoud scored once and provided one assist during Friday's 5-1 win over Freiburg.
Impact
Dahoud scored his second goal of the campaign and notched his first assist during Friday's rout. The midfielder tends to be a limited fantasy option with his role, but he has three goal contributions in the last two matches. Dahoud is an interesting play based on his form alone and is worth considering next time out against Hoffenheim.
