In doubt after training injury Matip picked up a groin problem in training Friday and is in doubt versus Crystal Palace on Monday, Ian Doyle of the Liverpool Echo reports.

Impact Matip featured in the starting XI against Fulham on Saturday due to the absence of Ibrahima Konate (knee) and now faces the possibility of missing out himself. The Liverpool backline could get a boost from the potential return of Kostas Tsimikas (undisclosed), though it could end up being Joe Gomez who starts at center-back, depending how Jurgen Klopp wants to play things.
