Impact Dotson was unexpectedly brought on in for Romain Metanire after he went down with a leg injury right before half in the loss Monday. The midfielder was not impactful and did very little to help his team when they were up or when they started gaining a plethora of pressure from Seattle. Dotson has been underwhelming for the most part this season and will hope that next season he can find some more consistency.

Injured against Houston Dotson suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Houston Dynamo.
Impact Dotson was subbed off straight after the tackle from Adam Lundqvist, and it appears the midfielder is set to miss most, if not all, of the remainder of the season. Andy Greder, of Pioneer Press reports that Dotson will be out for multiple weeks at least. This is a big blow for Minnesota, Dotson has been in the starting XI in 14 of the last 16 matches, and has been a crucial part of a strong midfield. With Dotson out, Osvaldo Alonso should slot straight back into defensive midfield, where he started the season.
