Could be option on final day Onyeka (ankle) is training and has a chance for Sunday's finale against Leeds United, according to manager Thomas Frank.
Impact Onyeka hasn't been an option since March, so it's good to see that he's back in training and could be an option again even if he may not play Sunday. He got a bit more run earlier in the season, but injuries derailed his season and he's struggled to get back into the squad in the second half.

Training with physios Onyeka (ankle) is training with the physios but is a doubt to play again this season, according to manager Thomas Frank.
Impact Onyeka has been out almost two months with this ankle injury and in order to return, he'd likely need a couple weeks of full training to get back his fitness. With just three weeks to go in the season, there's no reason to expect him back on the pitch.

Likely done for season Onyeka (ankle) will likely remain sidelined for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign. Manager Thomas Frank told reporters, "Frank Onyeka has an ankle ligament injury. That could b...
Impact Onyeka has already been out of the squad for the club's last three contests with no clear sign of improvement. Even when healthy, the midfielder has struggled to break into the starting XI, so his absence is unlikely to affect most fantasy player.
APRIL 22, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Out with ankle problem Oneyka is set to miss 1-2 weeks with an ankle injury according to manager Thomas Frank, Jay Harris of The Athletic reports.
Impact Oneyka was an unused substitute in four of the team's six matches in the lead-up to the international break and logged just 32 minutes off the bench in two contests. Given his lack of opportunities, the midfielder figures to be a relative non-factor in fantasy contests even once cleared to play.

Back with Brentford Onyeka (AFCON) stayed on the bench in Saturday's FA Cup loss.
Impact Onyeka is again an option for Brentford, but his playing time could be limited going forward despite getting two starts before leaving. When everyone is healthy, he's been on the bench and the recent return of Josh Dasilva could limit Onyeka's minutes even more.
FEBRUARY 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Heads out for AFCON Onyeka will join Nigeria for the upcoming African Cup of Nations and miss the team's next three league matches, at a minimum.
Impact Onyeka started the last two matches for Brentford prior to leaving and his depth will be missed in January. He's been a solid addition to the team after coming over in the summer, already with 11 starts from 17 appearances, playing as more a defensive midfielder with 13 shots and four chances created.

Impact Onyeka missed the match prior to the break, but after another week of training, it looks like he'll contend for starts again. Prior to the Norwich match, he had started five-straight matches in the midfield, though the return of Mathias Jensen and Saman Ghoddos moved him to the bench.

Signs with Brentford Onyeka has signed a five-year deal with Brentford away from Danish side Midtjylland.
Impact Onyeka is the first Premier League signing for Brentford and one who could become important this season. He doesn't have much fantasy value as more of a defensive midfielder, but he showed his worth this past season in Champions League, going up against the likes of Liverpool and Atalanta. In those six group matches, he had 18 tackles, 18 interceptions and 19 fouls drawn.
