Nikola Vasilj - Concedes three goals in loss Vasilj made five saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich.
Impact Vasilj wasn't expected to have a lot of upside in this match given the opposition, and while that was the case, it's worth noting the scoreline could've been bigger hadn't it been for a few stops from the Bosnian goalkeeper. Vasilj has allowed two or more goals in four of his last six starts, so he's not going to have a lot of upside in the coming matches, either.
APRIL 1, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Elias Saad - Scores in loss to Bayern Saad scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 defeat versus Bayern Munich.
Impact Saad found himself at the right place and time to score St. Pauli's equalizer midway through the first half, and his tap-in from close range following a cross from Manolis Saliakas made it 1-1. Saad has three goals and two assists on the season, and he's likely to remain in the lineup since he's been in the XI in five of the team's last six matches.
APRIL 1, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Manolis Saliakas - Credited with assist in loss Saliakas assisted once to go with three crosses (two accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich.
Impact Saliakas assisted in St. Pauli's first goal with an exquisite low cross that was tapped home by Elias Saad. Saliakas was a constant threat on the right flank due to his forward runs, and he was rewarded by notching his first assist of the campaign. As a wing-back on a defensive-minded team, though, most of Saliakas' upside should continue to come via his defensive work and crossing totals instead of the end product.
APRIL 1, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Adam Dzwigala - Picks up injury Dzwigala was forced off the field in the 60th minute of Saturday's match against Bayern Munich due to an apparent injury.
Impact Dzwigala made it to the hour mark before he had to stop, with an injury effecting the defender enough he had to leave the field. This was his first start of the season, so this a tough blow for the player. He was replaced by Conor Metcalfe, although Hauke Wahl would be a more likely option, as he is typical starter in the defense.
MARCH 29, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Robert Wagner - Returns to bench Wagner (thigh) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Bayern Munich.
Impact Wagner is on the team sheet Saturday after some time out with a thigh injury. He sees a spot on the bench in his return and will hope to see some starting time soon, as he started in five of his eight appearances before his injury, last playing Nov. 9 due to this injury.
MARCH 29, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Siebe Van Der Heyden - Starts Saturday Ven der Heyden (calf) is in the starting XI for Saturday's match against Bayern Munich.
Impact Van der Heyden is with the team as expected Saturday, with the defender immediately reclaiming his spot in the starting XI. He has now started in seven straight games and looks likely to continue in this role moving forward.
MARCH 29, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Siebe Van Der Heyden - Good to go Van der Heyden (calf) is available for Saturday's trip to Munich, per manager Alexander Blessin.
Impact Van der Heyden is expected to return for Saturday's trip after overcoming a calf injury. The defender should be an option in the starting XI and is recovering slightly faster than expected after failing to train earlier in the week.
MARCH 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Siebe Van Der Heyden - Not yet training Van der Heyden (calf) isn't training with the team ahead of Saturday's trip to Munich, according to Hamsburger Abendblatt.
Impact Van der Heyden remains out of team training and is only working individually. The defender still has an outside chance for a Saturday trip to Munich, but unless he's back in team training quickly it's unlikely he'll go Saturday. Van der Heyden would be a likely starter if fit for the closing stage of the campaign.
MARCH 25, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Karol Mets - Training on his own Mets is training on his own and is still not ready to return to action, the club announced Monday.
Impact Mets is working his way back from a knee injury, and while seeing him back in training is a welcomed sight, he's not ready to return to action yet. The fact that he's training on his own suggests he should be, at least, a couple of weeks away from returning to action yet.
MARCH 24, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Guilavogui was expected to be back after the international break and that appears to be coming to fruition after he rejoined his teammates in training on Monday. He started off training with the group before going to individual work, likely taking a cautious approach. Either way, he should be expected to make the call when facing Bayern Munich on Saturday.

Impact Wagner will likely play in Wednesday's friendly against Hertha Berlin to build fitness before being included in the squad for their next match against Bayern after the international break. The assist was the first goal involvement since November 29th for the wing-back as he's combined for three chances created and 18 clearances over his last three starts.
MARCH 14, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Siebe Van Der Heyden - Leaves with calf injury Van der Heyden was forced off in the second half of Friday's 1-0 win over Hoffenheim with a calf injury.

Impact Wagner has fully recovered from the thigh injury that sidelined him since early November and is available for Friday's game.
