Cameroon forward Choupo-Moting staying at Bayern Munich

Cameroon forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has extended his contract to stay another season at Bayern Munich

Extends contract through 2024 Choupo-Moting has signed an 18-month contract extension with Bayern Munich, the club announced Friday.

Impact Choupo-Moting has stepped up in a major way this campaign with 12 goals and two assists in 21 combined appearances (15 starts) across the Bundesliga and Champions League. He's been the club's primary center forward since October following Sadio Mane's long-term leg injury, after starting just nine league games in total throughout his first two seasons in Munich. Mane is finally returning from injury which will take part of the load away from Choupo-Moting, but the 33-year-old has still signed on to remain with the club through 2023/24.
