Arthur Theate - Records one shot in loss Theate registered one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Impact Theate recorded one off target shot in Wednesday's loss, one of just four attempts his side managed to take in the loss. On the defensive end he added two interceptions, two clearances and one tackle in his full 90 minutes of action. Frankfurt's defense was very disappointing in this Champions League campaign where the club finished in 33rd place as the unit only kept one clean sheet and conceded 21 goals, tied for the second most in the competition.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Ansgar Knauff - Shut down versus Spurs Knauff recorded no stats in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Impact Knauff was completely shut out of Wednesday's final UCL group stage match, recording zero shots, chances created or crosses in the loss. It was a very disappointing UCL campaign for Frankfurt, though Knauff was one of the lone bright spots. He finished the group stage with two goals and one assist across eight appearances (seven starts). He will now put all of his focus into the Bundesliga as the club is currently on the outside looking in for a spot in Europe next season.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Aurelio Buta - One shot in rare start Buta had one shot (one on goal) and one cross (one accurate) in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Impact Buta made just his second start of the season (all competitions) Wednesday and just his second appearance in the Champions League. He recorded one shot on target, the only one his team managed in the match, and added one accurate cross on the attack. Considering this match was essentially meaningless for Frankfurt, Buta's inclusion in the starting XI is likely not a signal that he will see a significant increase in playing time moving forward.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Aiden Harangi - Returns to Frankfurt Harangi has ended his loan spell to San Diego and returned to Frankfurt, the club announced.
Impact Harangi spent some time in San Diego on loan during the 2025 MLS season, featuring in five games, contributing three chances created, nine clearances and four tackles. The defender is back with his parent club, although discussions are still ongoing between both clubs to extend his stay.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Jonathan Burkardt - Trains partially with team Burkardt (calf) was spotted training partially with the team on Tuesday, the club posted.
Impact Burkardt missed all the games since late November due to a calf injury but is progressing well in his recovery since he resumed team training partially on Tuesday. This suggests he could be back in the match squad within the month of February and be a boost to the frontline of the eagles since he was a regular starter in the first part of the season for Frankfurt.
JANUARY 27 • ROTOWIRE
Can Uzun - Picks up thigh injury Uzun will be unavailable for an undefined period after suffering a muscular injury during the weekend's match against Hoffenheim, his team announced Monday.
Impact Uzun is likely to be sidelined midweek against Tottenham, after which his return to a regular workload will depend on his recovery process. This news comes after the youngster started three times in the last five official games, scoring two goals over that period. His place in the starting lineup could be taken by Ansgar Knauff or Mario Gotze.
JANUARY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Aurele Amenda - Nets own goal Amenda recorded an own goal, one tackle (zero won), 10 clearances and one interception in Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Hoffenheim.
Impact Amenda made 10 clearances and a tackle Saturday, but the only thing he will be remembered for in that match is an unfortunate own goal. It wasn't enough to totally turn the tide of the match, but still a disappointing outcome. Amenda's overall defensive volume was solid though.
JANUARY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Ritsu Doan - Busy on set-pieces Doan registered one shot (zero on goal), seven crosses (two accurate) and six corners in Saturday's 3-1 loss against Hoffenheim.
Impact Doan didn't get much going throughout Saturday's loss, but he was busy on set-pieces throughout. The winger sent in six corners and whipped in seven crosses, but just couldn't find the heads of his team. It was a good volume performance, but the loss and a disappointing return means he was left without any goal contributions. Doan should continue in a large volume role moving forward.
JANUARY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Arnaud Kalimuendo - Nets Saturday Arnaud Kalimuendo scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Hoffenheim.
Impact Kalimuendo scored during Saturday's clash with a nice performance, sending in three shots and creating a chance as well. It was a solid showing all around though the loss was an obvious disappointment. Kalimuendo should continue in a large role while on loan with Frankfurt.

Rasmus Kristensen - Returns with two chances created Kristensen registered one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat to Qarabag. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 61st minute.
Impact Kristensen came back from injury and created a pair of chances. The defender is an excellent offensive option, at least when he's allowed to line up at wing-back. If he stays out wide Kristensen likes to get forward and has a strong shot from distance. If he's pushed back to a central defensive role his upside is significantly limited.
JANUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Can Uzun - Scores Wednesday Uzun scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal) in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat against Qarabag.
Impact Uzun found the back of the net during Wednesday's clash, scoring on two shots, but failing to earn a point against Qarabag. It's another disappointing result for Frankfurt and another strong performance by Uzun. The team has been inconsistent but Uzun has established that he's ready to be a top contributor in all competitions.
JANUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Fares Chaibi - Nets in loss Chaibi scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Qarabag.
Impact Chaibi came off the bench for 20 minutes during Wednesday's clash and put together a nice performance. The midfielder scored and created a chance despite playing only part of the second half. When fit Chaibi is an excellent offensive option, though the team as a whole has been inconsistent and limited his upside.
JANUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Mahmoud Dahoud - On bench against Qarabag Dahoud (undisclosed) is on the bench for Wednesday's clash against Qarabag.
Impact Dahoud is on the bench for Wednesday's match against Qarabag after exiting Friday's game against Bremen with an undisclosed injury. Dahoud has started three of the last five matches, though his role under new coach Dennis Schmitt remains uncertain.
JANUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Mario Gotze - Makes bench Wednesday Gotze (illness) is on the bench for Wednesday's clash against Qarabag.
Impact Gotze is back on the bench for Wednesday's match against Qarabag after missing Friday's clash with Bremen due to illness. He could come on during the match and still play a role off the bench, offering creativity and experience if called upon as the game progresses.
JANUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Hugo Larsson - Starting in midfield Larsson (illness) is in the starting XI for Wednesday's clash against Qarabag.
Impact Larsson returned to the starting squad for Wednesday's match against Qarabag after missing the last two Bundesliga matches due to illness. Larsson returns directly to the starting XI and is expected to retain his role under new coach Dennis Schmitt.
JANUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Rasmus Kristensen - Makes starting XI Wednesday Kristensen (face) is in the starting XI for Wednesday's clash against Qarabag.
Impact Kristensen is in the starting XI for Wednesday's match against Qarabag despite suffering a facial injury in Friday's draw against Bremen and will wear a protective mask. The Danish defender remains a locked-in starter, having started each of the last eight matches.
JANUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Mahmoud Dahoud - Available against Qarabag Dahoud (undisclosed) is back available for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag, the club announced.
Impact Dahoud was forced off early in Friday's clash against Bremen due to discomfort but the issue appeared to be minor since the midfielder has been included into the squad list for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag. Dahoud has been a regular figure in the starting XI of the eagles recently but it remains to be seen what role he will hold under new coach Dennis Schmitt.
JANUARY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Mario Gotze - Training in full Gotze (illness) was spotted training in full with the team, the club posted.
Impact Gotze missed Friday's draw against Bremen due to illness but is back in full team training this week after clearing it. The attacking midfielder will likely be an option for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag. That said, it remains to be seen what role he will hold under new coach Dennis Schmitt since he started seven of his 18 appearances this season, being mostly a bench option for the eagles.
JANUARY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Hugo Larsson - Should be available Wednesday Larsson (illness) was back in team training and should be available for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag, according to BILD.
Impact Larsson missed the last two games due to illness but has returned to team training this week and should be an option for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag. This is great news for the eagles since he has been a regular starter in the midfield and should claim back that role moving forward under new coach Dennis Schmitt.
JANUARY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Rasmus Kristensen - Available against Qarabag Kristensen (face) is available for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag and will wear a mask, new coach Dennis Schmitt said in the press conference. "Rasmus isn't thr...
Impact Kristensen suffered a face injury in Friday's draw against Bremen but is doing fine and will be able to play while wearing a mask. The defensive midfield has been an undisputed starter for the eagles this season and his role is unlikely to change under new coach Dennis Schmitt. That said, if he had to start Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag on the bench, Ritsu Doan will likely play on the right flank in a deeper role on the pitch.
