Extends contract Jones has agreed on a new four year contract extension with the New England Revolution.

Impact Jones has committed to staying with the Revs long term since joining the club in 2019. The defender has made a total of119 starts in 134 appearances in over five seasons, recording six goals and 16 assists. This also included five assists during the last three straight campaigns, making him an important asset to the back line for the team.

Impact Jones spent yet another year starting on the flanks of the defense for New England, marking his third straight season with 26 or more starts. He was decent in the defense but was nowhere near reaching a career-high in any category, notching 33 interceptions, 42 tackles and 48 clearances. However, he was one of the better-attacking defenders in the league once again, registering six goal contributions to give him 20 over the past three campaigns. He is still under contract for one more year before facing a club option and should continue as a regular starter.

Late call-up to USMNT Jones has been called up to the USMNT for Tuesday's friendly against Oman, Steven Goff of The Washington Post reports.

Impact Jones has been called up to face Oman after Joe Scally departed camp for family reasons. The left-back shouldn't have problems returning in time to play for the Revs against Colorado on Saturday, however.
