Timo Werner - Completes MLS move Werner has left RB Leipzig to join San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS, his former club announced Thursday.

Impact Werner struggled to get things going and was limited to just 13 minutes off the bench across three Bundesliga appearances in 2025-26. He should be a regular starter for San Jose right away, as he joins the club as a Designated Player, and this seems like the perfect opportunity for Werner to get his career back on track. He hasn't scored a goal in a competitive match since the 2023/24 season when he was playing for Tottenham Hotspur. Werner's deal with the Earthquakes goes until the end of the 2027/28 MLS season.

Cristian Arango - Inks new contract with San Jose Arango has signed a new contract with San Jose Earthquakes until December 2027 with options through June 2028 and the 2028/29 season.

Impact Arango is staying in a team that gave him the opportunity to start all 30 MLS games he was available for last season. During that period, the striker tallied 13 goals and three assists while averaging 4.1 shots (1.4 on goal) per contest. He has been one of the most productive forwards in the league over the last few seasons and could remain a consistent offensive threat in the future.
