Caden Clark - Traded to D.C. United
Clark has been traded from CF Montreal to DC United on Thursday. In return, Montreal will receive $700,000 in cash, as well as a conditional amount of $100,000, while retaining a p...
Impact
Clark was a regular presence in Montreal's midfield this season, tallying four assists across 17 starts and 26 appearances. He should see regular minutes in DC as well, though his lack of an eye for goal certainly limits his upside as an attacking midfielder.

Aaron Herrera - Logs double-digit crosses in draw
Herrera created two chances, sent in 10 crosses (four accurate) and made three tackles (two won), two clearances, one interception and one block during Saturday's 1-1 draw against...
Impact
Herrera was used as a midfielder from the flank this time and had a great two way performance, with solid defensive numbers despite the more advanced positioning and even better stats on the attacking end as he was his team's most reliable source of playmaking. Now fully available after being out for a month with his national team and then serving two different one-match suspensions, Herrera will definitely bring a lot of hope for a D.C. side that doesn't win a game since May.

Christian Benteke - Takes three shots in draw
Benteke had three shots (two on target), drew two fouls and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Montreal.
Impact
Benteke bounced back from the poor performance on the previous game and had some chances here but wasn't able to help his side getting their first win since May. After having a strong start of campaign, the veteran striker couldn't get back to his top form after suffering an ankle injury that sidelined him for a month, with just two goals over seven appearances since his return.

Luis Barraza - Allows one in draw
Barraza made three saves and conceded one goal during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Montreal.
Impact
Barraza returned to the team after being bench on the previous game and couldn't do much when Luca Petrasso appeared unmarked in front of him to draw things level at 1-1 in the 41st minute but other than that had a very solid performance between the posts. However, the goalkeeper still have some concerning numbers as of late and the fact that his team's next opponent will be a Lionel Messi-led Inter Miam doesn't make him a very appealing fantasy choice.

Jackson Hopkins - Scores first career MLS goal
Hopkins scored a goal off his lone shot and made one tackle and one clearance during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Montreal.
Impact
Hopkins used a powerful long-range finish to open the scoring in the 28th minute. This was the first career MLS goal for the youngster, who started in four of his team's last six games but still needs to contribute in more aspects of the game to definitely lock up a starting spot for the rest of the campaign.

Hosei Kijima - Questionable for Saturday
Kijima is questionable for Saturday's match against Montreal due to a thigh injury, according to the MLS injury report.
Impact
Kijima is likely to need to pass some testing to be an option Saturday, as he has picked up a thigh injury heading into the weekend. This is unfortunate for the club as they continue with numerous injuries on the wing, already without Peglow (knee) and Randall Leal (leg). That said, his absence could force some moving around, with Derek Dodson or Jared Stroud possibly taking his spot if he misses out.

Randall Leal - Dealt leg injury
Leal is out for Saturday's match against Montreal due to a leg injury, according to the MLS injury report.
Impact
Leal is going to be sidelined for at least a week, with the attacker picking up a leg injury. This is going to force a change for the club, as he has started in their past two games, with Derek Dodson or Gabriel Pirani as possible replacements. They will hope for a return soon, as they are already without Peglow (knee), leaving them short on options on the left flank.

Gabriel Pirani - Quiet performance in loss
Pirani had one off-target shot, made one tackle and drew one foul during Saturday's 2-0 loss against New England.
Impact
Pirani couldn't showcase his playmaking skills this time as the opposition didn't allow him to receive the ball as frequently as he's used to and he didn't have the usual room to operate in his few touches. The midfielder was coming off scoring twice and assisting once over his previous four starts so hope is that this was just an off day for him as his team will need him a lot during a very tough three-game stretch to close out the month.

Christian Benteke - Quiet display in loss
Benteke had one off-target shot, created one chance, drew five fouls and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 2-0 loss against New England.
Impact
Benteke had one of his worst outings of the season here, with way less participation than he's used to have as he was completely smothered by the opposing defense despite the fact that they used a lot of fouls to get their mission accomplished. Despite this setback, the striker, who had scored in each of his previous two starts, will remain his team's biggest hope up front for upcoming games.

Peglow - Injury leads to sidelines
Peglow (knee) is out for Saturday's match against the Revs, according to the MLS injury report.
Impact
Peglow suffered a knock at training and will now miss out on action for at least a week due to his injury. This is a blow for the club as he is a leading attacker with his six goal contributions, not to mention he is a regular starter. This will call for a change, with Jacob Murrell or Jared Stroud as possible options.

Luis Barraza - Allows four in loss
Barraza made two saves and conceded four goals during Saturday's 4-2 loss against Austin.
Impact
Barraza wasn't at fault for any of the four goals and didn't have much help from the defensive line in front of him. Anyway, this has been a nightmare performance from a fantasy standpoint as the goalkeeper couldn't make enough saves to offset so many goals and had his fourth consecutive game getting beaten multiple times. When we look at the upcoming matchups, things don't look much easier for Barraza as three of the next four are away from home and the exception is a clash against an Inter Miami side captained by a red-hot Lionel Messi.

Christian Benteke - Converts PK in loss
Benteke scored a penalty goal, had five shots (three on target), created one chance and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 4-2 loss against Austin.
Impact
Benteke had his best performance since his return from the thigh injury that left him out for more than a month. The striker could only score from the penalty spot deep into second half's stoppage time but was a big threat during the entire contest, pacing his team in shots attempted. With goals in his last two games, Benteke will hope to get back to the form displayed at the start of the season, which would definitely help his team finishing the year in a not so embarrassing position.
