Extends contract with Minnesota St. Clair has signed a three-year contract extension with the option for another year with Minnesota United, the club announced Tuesday.

Impact St. Clair has kept eight clean sheets in 21 appearances in all competitions during his three seasons in Minnesota (the first one he spent on loan in the USL), but the 24-year-old remains a backup option to Tyler Miller as he signs on until 2025.

Impact St. Clair made his first MLS appearance since early May on Sunday, filling in for Tyler Miller (illness) as Portland knocked his side out of the playoffs in the first round. The 24-year-old made 12 saves and allowed 13 goals in five games this season, and will likely return to the bench in favor of Miller in 2022.
